Admissions

Children are usually enrolled at Bevan Lodge in the academic year in which they become 2 years and 9 months of age. The start date is as soon as possible after a child is 2 years and 9 months of age, although children may be admitted from 2 years and 6 months with agreement between the registrar, manager, and parent/carer.

Children whose birthdays are in September, October, or November can join no earlier than the September of/immediately before their third birthday (unless they are admitted under the Two Year Old Offer scheme, see below), meaning they will have 6 terms in pre-school before starting infant school. We are part of Hampshire's Two Year Old Offer scheme, which means we can take children from the term after their second birthday if they have been referred because they meet the criteria of the scheme. Find out more about Early Learning for 2-Year-Olds Funding and how to apply.
